Restore access to your wallet

Your PIN protects the saved wallet on this browser. Recover with your 24-word Tari L2 phrase to set a new PIN. Your phrase restores your wallet; it does not reveal your old PIN.

Deleting the saved copy does not recover access or remove funds from Tari. Keep your recovery phrase before deleting.

Save your recovery phrase

Write these 24 words down in order. Anyone with them can control this wallet. Keep them private.

Convert to posting funds

Move 10 test TARI from your account into funds this app can use for posting. It stays native test TARI in your wallet. Your total balance changes only by the network fee.

How this conversion works

Tari creates four private outputs of 2.5 test TARI each, controlled by your wallet's one-time keys. Hauntboard uses one output per post so the posting transaction can omit your persistent wallet key and named account. Unspent change from a post is held separately.

For example, a 500 test TARI account becomes 10 available for posting and approximately 490 left in the account, minus the conversion fee. The 10 is not a charge; posting fees are charged later when you publish.

Conversion exposes the funding account, amount and shared output origin on-chain. Later posts can still be linked through that history. This does not guarantee anonymity. Review the fee before confirming.

This removes the saved wallet and keys for this network from this browser. It does not remove on-chain funds or posts. Your recovery phrase is the only way to restore access.
